PERSONALLY,I THINK IT'S GREAT!,I USED TO WORK FULL TIME BUT I DON'T CONSIDER THIS AS DEMANDING OR AS STRESSFUL,IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT.HERE YOU HAVE A BLANK CANVAS,AN INFORMATION SPONGE WITH A THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE AND ACTIVITY.MUM'S DO A GREAT JOB BUT WHY SHOULD THEY HAVE ALL THE FUN !!

Go on,cut the cord if your there for the delivery,gotta be experienced as I really do think it creates a bond(ironic ay)Che(Chay) is 13 mths old now and took his first steps independantly exactly at 13 mths,i'm going to log progress from this point along with pictures,activity ideas,milestones and probably the unexpected.Sleep deprivation is real mate,expect two to three times a night to service the little tike for a while.This is still a concern so I have been keeping him occupied for longer,I'll let you know how I go.I will update this guide at 15 mths with more pictures.

Found a good way to occupy the boy whilst catchin' rays.I bought a screened tent enclosure for 80 buck's and a 6 dollar blow up pool,filled it full of toy's and watched him play for an hour or so.Sleeping is becoming less of a problem as he is kept busy until he NEEDS a sleep.Che has never used a dummy,don't know why ,maybe we just never pushed it or maybe there's lot's more options than just offering a quick fix plug.Bottles have been reduced to one scoop of formula 2 to 3 times a day as he will eat just about anything we will,mainly given when having a nap.

Che is 13mths and almost two weeks.He has 4 upper teeth and two lower and walking ,abeit very unsteadily.On average he is sleeping 2 hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the arvo.

Ah,yeah,the screened enclosure and pool met an unfortunate fate.Before the boy could even use his pool to paddle in,a big gust of wind took both of them,the pool and enclosure,not the boy!The pool was found impaled on a barbed wire fence and the encosure was found in another backyard,IN JAKARTA!!!......well.....nearly.

Now Che is walking he has become bored with the scenery at his eye level and is wanting to be picked up to see what other stuff he is missing out on.Obviously this doesnt sit well with him on the occasion he is denied, and begins to turn on a hissy fit.I ignored this out burst and took myself directly to his room and started playing with his toys,EXCELLENT DISTRACTION!!,followed me in,forgot all about it.

Hello again,

Che is now saying ta,when giving or receiving something,he recognizes about 15-20 words and can indicate where his eyes,nose and ears are.Che now strolls around the yard and quickly discovered there was a myriad of objects that a kid could easily pick up and eat.All you can do is follow and remind about the nothing in the mouth that isn't food rule,he soon got the message and now he watches me,watching him pick up rocks which I allow him to have as he gives me a cheeky grin.I'm sure he enjoys the trust placed on him.

Che started swimming lessons 3 weeks ago and doesn't think much of it.I'm sure he'll warm to it as his confidence builds.Also,I have introduced the potty.Not really a potty this thing is pretty flash.Its more like a commode of the rich and famous and it even plays music,obviously it's too good to take a dump in,but we'll keep at it.

Hi There,

Che attends pre school 2 day's a week now and generally appears to enjoy it. Che is now 28 mths with a fairly large vocabulary. His favourite things are,lawnmowers(still),buses and generally anything that has wheels! One of his teachers reported to me one day that Che had corrected her grammar. The teacher asked,"don't you want no more?",to which Che replied,"any!"  I'm gonna include a video link soon of footage,in the meantime,some pics,
