Finding the right fit in clothes, can be a daunting experience at the best of times, and shopping on-line can be a little more difficult. Here is a no-fuss easy to follow bust-flattering guide that you can use in Store and On-line.
- When shopping for swimsuits, look for halter-neck (flattering and supportive) bikinis or tankinis with built in support (which look better than a one-peice as they define the waist) and bikinis that are "fixed" rather than moveable (e.g triangle on a string), to bring your bust in and up.
- Remember fashion is all about balance, If you're showing cleavage, don't show too much leg. If you decide on a conservative neckline, flaunt your legs in a cute mini or sleek shorts.
- Avoid horizontal stripes or large patterns on the bust as they only make the bust look bigger. If you want to wear stripes opt for a bag, scarf or shoes. If you can't resist horizontal stripes, try thin lines, for the most subtle effect. Similarily, it's best to stick to dark or smaller prints.
- Empire-line dresses and tops can make you look pregnant as they don't give you waist definition. Same goes for pinafore style dresses.
- Opt for clothes that cinch in at the waist, as it's important to add definition to your silhouette when you have a big bust.
- Look for structured and tailored clothing. Anything too wafty or baggy will make you look heavier than you are, Skinny jeans, pencil skirts, belts - anything that balances out the silhouette is ideal.
- Voluminous skirts, such as the bubble (when teamed with a streamline top), can help to balance out a large bust.
