When purchasing a plasma's/LCD's on ebay always ask the seller is the item listed BRAND NEW IN A FACTORY SEALED BOX. I have noticed that other ebayers sell plasma's/LCD's that are either factory seconds, refurbished or repackaged and do not stipulate this when advertising on ebay. These types of plasma's/LCD's do not carry a factory warranty but a third party warranty. There is nothing wrong with these types of Tv's but don't be mislead thinking you are purchasing something new when it's not.

Always ask is the item listed BRAND NEW IN A FACTORY SEALED BOX
