Want that home theatre but cant quite stretch the budget to allow for the projector, cabling, bracket and a nice screen?

Here is the solution to help you save hundreds if not thousands,

An Australian company called Theatre Concepts has released a fantastic product that allows you to make your own custom projection surface that not only outshines the opposition but will also allow total flexability and ability for the screen to be custom made to suit its surroundings.

The product is called Screenkote and has already been reviewed favourably in Home Theatre Best Buys magazine where they compared it up against a rather expensive fixed frame screen with fantastic results. It is a kit form solution for those looking to obtain a quality video image whilst having the ability to custom make a screen that blends into the surroundings. It can even be applied straight onto an existing gyprock wall with amazing results.

Available as a kit it comes with a tub of primer suitable for preparing a gyprock, mdf or board surface, a fine flocked roller for application and a tub of screenkote scren emulsion in either a standard white or a greyscale finish.

Application is a breeze and because it is acrylic based rollers and brushes can be cleaned up with water.

Full lists of scren sizes are available if you are uncertain of what size to paint.

Another great benefit is the ability to re paint the surface every few years to best maintain the highest possible image result, the main tub of surface paint is large enough to cover a massive 150 inch screen and because it it in a plastic storage tub it can be used for touch ups or resurfacing for years to come if stored properly.

Screenkote is a result of years of research and development and is not simply a flat white or artist grade paint, if you are going to install a projector then you really owe it to yourself to provide a quality screen area to obtain the best image.

Because it isnt a material based screen surface it wont suffer from stretch marks or an uneven finish from rolling up and down.
