Buying sunglasses on ebay can save you loads , there is massive saving to be made from high street prices... But only if you get the real

deal .

GUCCI - ARMANI - PRADA - DIOR - VERSACE - D&G - RAY BAN - DIESEL - POLICE - OAKLEY

GETTING THE REAL DEAL

First , decide on which sunglasses you want , go to one of the sunglasses shops in the high street , try some pairs on and get the model numbers .

Every pair of designer sunglasses has it own unique serial number, this is usually printed on the inside of one of the legs .

This number does not change by country , eg  PRADA  SPS 52E  is the serial number for these glasses throughout the world .

BUYING

Open up an internet search engine and search for the model number , there is quite a few massive internet sunglass retailers with very clear and detailed pictures .

When viewing auctions on eBay of the glasses you are looking to buy , use this retailers website pics to compare the glasses too .

This will give you a very good comparison and also you might find that you local shop only had them in 1 colour , when you have now found that the ones you liked now come in 5 different and also come polarized . This will help you get the range of model numbers .

EBAY AUCTION

Using the above method , you have now found the sunnies you want and have a good comparison guide .

Now

  • Check the sellers feedback.
  • Does the seller sell sunglasses usually ?
  • The auction MUST say that the glasses are AUTHENTIC if not ask the seller.
  • If the pics are not clear ask the seller for more.

Also

  • Stay clear of anything from China, Singapore, Japan ect ... sorry for the bad rap but thats where most of the counterfeit sunnies originate.
  • Make sure they accept safe payment terms like Paypal
  • Genuine designer frames are more expensive than normal, if the price is unusually low or "too good to be true" ask why.
  • Warrany usually indicates genuine manufacturer aftersales service.
  • Seller's usually provide a 'money back guarantee' to back their claims of authenticity, is this available?
  • Do the frames come with the manufacturers designer case and branded cloth, check this against the website photos .

There is quite a few big Sunglasses sellers on eBay with massive money to be saved on high street prices ! follow this guide and you will avoid getting stung with the many many fake glasses being sold everyday to unsuspecting eBayers.
