Lately you will all have noticed the large number of high end B&O HiFi equipement items listed every day on eBay.

Most of them are fraudulent so beware. Avoid all those that look too good to be true. Believe me, they are.

I'm not sure why eBay takes so long to do anything about them though as they keep appearing every day and if you show any interest in them, you might even get an official eBay message telling you to avoid dealing with this seller. Still the same listings with the same photos and text and even location are listed as the ones that were listed before.

Most of them are selling from China but there are more and more of them selling from Canada and the UK.

If on the web page you are asked to contact the seller before placing a bid, beware. You will probably get asked to do some sort of deal outside of eBay involving Western Union for payment.

I generally don't searchy any other expensive brands but I bet the same thing is happening with any expensive, branded items.

Best advice is to follow eBay's guidlines and use PayPal where possible for payment.
