Beanie Kids are a Wonderful Collectors item when they are in the right condition. Not only are they cute they go up in Value!!

To buy the right Beanie Kid, you need to have a CREASE FREE Swing tag, you can hold the tag up to the light and check the spine to make sure there is no creases also check the back of the Swing tag. The TUSH TAG on the under side of the Beanie Kid should also be clean and Clear!! Make sure there is no marks on the Beanie Kid itself as that can reduce value also. Even if you dont have a swing tag they still can be sold due to the rareity of the Beanie Kid.As they all retire eventually!!!

To Make sure when you first start to collect the Beanie Kids, store them away from light as this can fade the swing tag, keep them protected from dust, smoke etc buy storing them in sealed bags(I use freezer Bags) you can also buy, BK tag Protectors from Beanie Kid Retailers to keep the Swing Tag Crease free.Buy the Beanie Kid Collectors book from Beanie Kid retailers, these are also handy to know the year they were retired.

Every month Skansen bring out a Beanie Kid with a small red and yellow BK button, that is the Premier design and are retired immediately, they can only be bought from Premier Exclusive Stockists!! They also every now and again bring out Mutations in sealed bags,which are great fun opening to find that rare BK Mutant but even the Common ones have a BK button and are special as they too are instantly retired!!
