Mussels steamed in spicy beer
375ml of beer - lager or pale ale will be fine
2 Bay Leaves
4 Cloves
1 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds
1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Lemon Wedges
3 Dozen Mussels Cleaned and De-bearded
Minces Parsley for Garnish
Put everything except the mussels & parsley into a large pot and bring to the boil for 2 minutes.
Add the mussels and steam for about 6 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with parsley
