Receive your purchase promptly with Multipoint and Australia Post

In an attempt to speed up our processing of parcels we have written this guide for all our customers and others who may be purchasing from other eBay suppliers. Most large suppliers in the market place will use Australia Post business plans to speed up the dispatch of parcels. At Multipoint Technologies we have chosen to use eParcel Express which is Australia Post’s Express, Registered, Courier Parcel Service.

All shipping data supplied by a customer is transferred directly to an Australia Post data base. Problems and delays arise when this data is incorrectly entered and is rejected by Australia Post. Multipoint staff are then required to research address details to find the errors and make appropriate corrections.

The most common error we deal with are:

Customers give too much information. Australia post will not accept

 Please do not leave both a street address and a PO Box address in your details. Decide where you require your parcel delivered. The system cannot accept two different addresses.

The Address 2 line is only used if you have an address that has two parts to the street address eg. if the parcel is being delivered to a multi level/multi-user building be sure to add the floor level room/suite number or company name in one of the address lines. Please leave blank if not required.

Where you live in a town or suburb please add these details in the Suburb eg. Glen Waverley not Melbourne, Westmead not Sydney. Your postal code must match the town/suburb that you enter if you are not sure please check Australia Post’s website where a postcode locator guide is available.

With eParcel Express, if a delivery is attempted and no one is home, the package is redirected to your local post office for collection.
