David Mann - Biker Art - Easyriders - Harley Davidson
G'day, I have collected Easyrider / Biker and other magazines every year since 1972 and have the whole Easyrider Mag collection. Downunder I think every biker at one stage or other has seen or at least heard of 'David Mann' and his art but to my knowledge not many collectors, if any in Oz. besides me.
Two years ago I was lucky enough to have a friend visiting different countries overseas and he found some Rare unobtainable out of print Easyrider issued - David Mann - FULL SIZED POSTERS, (3ft x 2ft) to which my friend said I maybe interested in purchasing . I ended up buying all of them and now offer some of the different ones in my eBay store. Please note: I do not have heaps or an endless supply, so it's first in best dressed. To my knowledge these posters being New condition, and there rarity will not go down in value, like most unobtainable collectable items hold and increase with age.

Regarding David Mann And Related Auction Items:
On other eBay sites like U.S. There are the usual numerous David Mann Easyrider centrefolds, the smaller poster versions which 'Ghostrider' the most popular and other small 20 x 16" inch posters to which there are around 5 - 10 to my knowledge. Some being - 'Aces High' as it's named on the Poster, but David Mann entitled it 'All the Elements' in the artbook - 'Sunset Boularvard' - Easyrider 10th Anniversary & 'Dem Bones Dem Bones' which is getting harder to find, some made by Nikry
Over the past decade I have seen many David Mann artwork items for sale but never these full sized posters. Occasionally you get the Rare 'David Mann Artwork Books' for sale- There are 3 of these which where only issued as a 10,000 limited edition copies each, (either signed by David Mann or not.) The first Artbook being the rarest, the second book pops up occassionally sometimes 2 or 3 listings at once in a ten day auction, or then not at all for months, and the third which is the latest is still available from easyrider when writting this or at least it is advertised as such in the latest Easyriders mag is also selling on eBay.
I mainly collected these magazines for one reason only - I was an admirer and in all of David Manns centrefold artworks which appeared monthly as a centrfold, and held with batted breath to see the next issue's centrefold .Although I'd decorate them the mag centrefolds in each house I rented or places I served in the Army, I always kept one of each centrefold in New Condition.
I would go and purchase notice board type material which came in 8ft x 6 ft lenghts, and pin the David Mann centrefolds to them, I was also able to get hold of mates copies from when I was young if they where ever going to throw them out, or had finished reading them. Some people gave me hundreds at a time, and I still have them.
I have now collected all his artworks, Hamilton Plates, Tapestries, T-shirts, knives, Cards (which are around 90 small versions of the posters w/ descriptions and anything else that carried these great artworks.
I had an interest in motorcycles (Harleys) since I first obtained my license, back in 1974 and in Australia they gave licences out seperatly and for some unknown reason lost my car licence for 2 years due to a speeding offence in Australia, but funny enough got on my bike a '74 chopped Sporty and rode away, legally, as the motorcycle licence still valid, Ah those where the days. There my love of motorcycles really took off.
I have hunted around on the Web, and eBay continuiosly, plus too many other auction Sites to mention to see what else was around for me to collect in the way of David Mann Art.
I have taken the time to inform you of this information so please be
so kind to Vote if this guide was of any interest to you.....
Or you can contact me as eBay do not allow outside links to other websites
