Its a big decision isnt it? so many people ask you when your pregnant Are you going to use cloth or disposable? Are you going to Breast Feed or Bottle Feed? WOW for a first-time mum I thought all these people were nosey and pushy and wanted to just TELL me what I should be or shouldnt be doing!

Well in a sense I guess they were. I have just read some other guides and it appears that they have a financial vested interest in telling you why cloth nappies are better than disposable, but heres what I think is the truth....

If you buy good quality --I only used HUGGIES and VIPs which are similar in their paper design only without the cute disney pictures -- im not advertising for them or anything. BUT I only ever used disposable. They let babys bottom breath instead of with cloth nappies that have a layer of plastic over a cloth that gets warm and damp and harbours room for bacterial growth and nasties like nappy rash.

My baby never ever had nappy rash from using disposables. They lock away the wetness, They arent as bulky--therefore being better on a newborn-toddlers lower back when lying down or in a car seat.

Im all for them and if anyone else who doesnt sell cloth nappies disagrees then I would be interested in hearing what they think...
