The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of Rolex's Complicated constructed watch. It is fantastic to wear and use. although if you are buying one on ebaY. Be aware!!!

Rolex Daytona's have 3 sub dials on the face. the watch also includes a stopwatch intergrated into the automatic movement which is a excellent feature in such a timepiece. be aware of copies or replicas on ebaY because you might just purchase a too good to be true Rolex Daytona which is made in China. the copies or replicas may look exactly like the real Rolex cosmetically but it will not perform what it is supposed to do. the real Daytona consists of the 3 sub dials which perform the following functions.

1. Hours (12 Hour)

2. Minutes (30 Minute)

3. Seconds (60 Second)

The replicas do not perform these features, some sub dials on the copies have day - month day and 24 hour time to replace the original functions. although some replicas have the same sub dial appearance to the originals but again do not perform the correct functions.

the weight of the original appears to be around 300+ grams. (heavy! , but considering the bracelet and casing are made of solid gold, and steel with white gold, and platinum) the replicas are usually made from stainless steel. the white gold replicas are made from stainless steel with polished  center braclet to appear as polished white gold. the weight however weights around 100 grams. much much lighter than the original.

just be aware on what you are looking for to purchase on ebaY. their are many counterfiet items. if you are looking for a real Rolex Daytona. just be aware on ebaY. if you can't afford one or want to wear one and keep your original Daytona at home. Buy a replica of the same Daytona you have of the original and wear it everyday to keep your original safe and new. if you can't afford an original Rolex, Buy a replica like i did, but remember if you ever sell it DO NOT SELL IT AS AN  ORIGINAL!!! YOU CAN FACE SERIOUS PENALTIES!!!

WATCH OUT FOR PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE A GIFT OR FOUND OR NOT SURE IF IT IS A FAKE. IF YOU HAD A ROLEX DAYTONA AND DID NOT KNOW IF IT WERE A FAKE OR NOT, YOU WOULD CHECK TO SEE IF IT WERE REAL BECAUSE OF THE HIGH VALUE OF THE TIMEPIECE!!!
