These days everyone wants the latest and greatest fashions at a bargain price, and A & F clothing seems to be the next best thing on ebay. Unfortunately, the market has been flooded with cheap imitations and wanna-be jumpers, jackets, t-shirts and jeans, who knows what you’re buying and where it's coming from? Here are a few of my tips to check your getting what you’re paying for! 1. The most important is to check where the seller is from. Don't just look at the top of the listing where the "correct" location should be. Read over the page, many sellers state that their stock is distributed from both HK and Australia. Another good place to look is on their feedback page. 2. If the item claims BNWT make sure this is shown in at least one photo. If not, request one from the seller. Many fake A&F jumpers/jackets have tags on them that make them appear to be authentic, but they have slight differences that will make you think otherwise e.g. Spelling errors, strange phrases, and tags in strange spots. 3. If the price begins at 0.99, there must be something up. These items sell for mega bucks in the USA, so why would they be so cheap over here? Another point to think about, if they couldn't have bought it for 0.99 why would they sell it for that? 4. The postage claims of $20 - 30. This is a huge tip off that they are after more money after the auction is finished. eBay are aware of this yet don't react to listings that are reported. 5. If the seller sells large amounts of A&F clothing you know it’s too good to be true. A&F do not have suppliers who sell in large stock amounts. For them to have this much stock is impossible! Like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Guess and Gucci, A&F is just another notch in the belt for these eBay pirates. Keep your eyes open when looking and buying A&F. If the offer seems too good to be true, it probably is. Good Luck
