Lately I have noticed many FAKE Bose in ear triport headphones on ebay. These earphones are typically selling for under 50 dollars, which is just plain stupid. Having bought a pair of these i will admit that the sound quality of these copies is very close to the original. The only problem is the fact that they are un waranteed, and often carry a fake serial number. Although i have had these earphones for just over 2 months, the metallic ring around the mesh has fallen off. This causes no loss in sound quality but they dont look as good. Signs that it is fake: (This cant be determined by appearance as they look 100% genuine.) 1)Price under 50 dollars. For a item that sells in stores for 149.95 this is a sure sign of a fake, so dont buy if you want genuine bose. 2) People listing multiple items for the same selling reason. (ie. Unwanted birthday present, prize. ect.ect) 3) Sellers not providing a serial number. If you are selling these, please dont sell as genuine BOSE triport earphones. Thanks, Matt.
