I have decided to Post this guide as a WARNING TO ALL EBAYERS!!!
In the past few months I have been actively watching auctions featuring "GENUINE LOUIS VUITTON" articles sell for well over the $200AUD mark, and sadly a good 85% in my opinion were poorly fabricated fakes!

Here is some simple advice to follow when bidding on Louis Vuitton Items.

1.) Ask the seller as many questions about the item??
Example: Can you provide a receipt? Why are you selling? How old is the Item? etc etc The more you know, the more information you have to make a decision.

2.) All Louis Vuitton leathergoods are made in USA, France or Spain ONLY!!!
Example: Made in China is a fake, Made in Thailand is a Fake.... Ask your seller where the item has been made??? If the seller advises that the dont know where the item has been made, then ITS A FAKE. All genuine LV merchandise is stamped with the Company Name, and Country of Manufacture.

3.) Louis Vuitton Leathergoods are Finely Crafted products.
All wallets/purses/handbags are stitched using a single piece of thread, there is NEVER any double Stitching, EVER!
Example: It should be nearly impossible to locate where the stitching begins and ends on a genuine item.

4.) If the seller is offering MULTIPLE HEAVILY Discounted Louis Vuitton Items for Auction....... DO NOT BID, DO NOT BUY!!!!
WARNING LIGHTS FLASH HERE!!! No one, regardless of the buying power can afford to sell genuine LV products Well Below the Retail Value.

5.) Finally, If in doubt.. DO NOT BID, DO NOT BUY! Sellers will guarantee the Authenticity of the product, however once you receive the item, and it is obviously a fake, you must forever say goodbye to your hard earned money..... Because the only way to get a full refund on a suspected NON AUTHENTIC Item, is to have the manufacturer (in this case LV) declare that the item is fake, and NO LV retail store will have anything to do with this, head office will not comply either!!!

6.) Leave Negative Feedback if you suspect the item is fake...........Warn Fellow Ebayers!!!!

7.) Notify Ebay immediately of the problem.

8.) Judge Judy and Christinas Court might hear your case, but how stupid will you look like on National Television after all the Guide Postings on Ebay telling you to watch out for fake LV!!!!

9.) IF IN DOUBT, MESSAGE ME VIA EBAY, AND I WILL GLADLY ASSIST YOU WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE RELATING TO LV ITEMS/GARMENTS/LEATHERGOODS!!!

++IF PRACTICAL, PHYSICALLY INSPECT THE ITEM FIRST++
