To get maximum results when writing  guides there are many different things you can do. Some of these things are:

• Only include vital information, DON'T ramble on about things that aren't related to your guide.

• Include pictures or links to make your guide more helpful / interesting
• Only include pictures that will make your guide more successful. Eg. I didnt include one for my  "Getting Best Results When Buying A Fart In A Jar" for obvious reasons, but including one on my "Buying Food That Looks Like Stuff.Getting the Real Deal guide
  

• Give your guide a name that will stand out above the rest. Instead of   "XBOX 360 Buying Guide"  try "Save $$$ When Buying XBOX 360!!!"
• A Good example of this is in the following guide: "Buying and selling video games on eBay guaranteed save$"

• When you get enough helpfulness votes , you will get a logo next to your name(you need to be in the top 500 reviewers to get it, even though it says top 1000). This definately will get more people going to you guide. What you are aiming for is the logo, but you'll have to get over 50 000 "Yes" votes.

• Make use of the formating options, like bullets and Bold.

Thats about it. Just one more thing, try and keep spelling mistakes to a minimum
