I have listed some topics like Harley Davidson seller Ripoffs, 'Motorcycle Ins, Bike Cleaning, and helpful Web information, which I hope you enjoy and leave some review for me.

eBay RIPOFFS  !!!                                                                          

           There are about 80% of Harley Davidson items on EBay (in Australia & Worldwide which are 'NON GENUINE', Always ask the Seller for the H.D. Individual Item Number, it will either be stamped on parts, sewn in caps, flags, clothing, helmets, any H.D. item has it's unique item number. Other Genuine Sellers in Australia are Roy's 57 / Grunters Den / Alpha /   that's about it.  

p.s.       Harley Davidson do not make flags, (At All) Bar lights, kero camp lighters, a lot of watches, decals, pins, rings, jewelry, patches, models,etc                  

Most of these are cheap crap imitations, homemade from overseas and sold in markets for a few bucks, this is called fraud, Trademark Theft, and the buyer, YOU get ripped off.

Also an aftermarket part should not be listed as Harley Davidson, except some get away with just using the name 'Harley' in their descriptions, or 'for Harley' 4 Harley etc, which unfortunately is quite okay under EBay policy.  Ebay Do Not care as they say 'It;s the responsibility of the seller who lists their item', anyway EBay make money on the listing and the sale.                     Money's a  good idea to turn a blind eye hey Mr EBay!

Some seller describe there items as Say 'Harley Davidson Genuine Leather' this is a play on words, which basically means they have added a 'H.D. Patch or Emblem', but it's genuine real leather.                                                      

These fraudulent items should be reported to EBay, just click 'Help' at the top of any Ebay Page, and then find 'Contact us'  on the left side of the page and under 'Misuse of Brand Names' report the item number.

MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE:    

  I have had numerous dealings with motorcycle insurance in my 35 years and come across a good reliable company Shannons. I've tried all the rest, they cover you for not only your bike, but clothing, tools, and up to $5,000 of items you take with you, digital cameras, helmets, and the like.                                                              

If you'd like to see what is available just ring 'Chook' at Shannons on   (02 9928-5550) or 13 46 46 and it sounds funny but say 'Possum' said to give you a call regards Motorcycle, or House and Contents, insurance.                                                

I just changed my Home & Contents policy over to Shannons, I got around an extra $140,000.oo cover including a $10.000 enthusiast free cover for tools, motorcycle models, paraphernalia which we all collect etc, Free burn out, fences, flood & water damage, cover for items when taken with me from home, the list goes on.       You would be an absolute dill not to see what's on offer!!!  Let me know if you get a better deal elsewhere, I'd be surprised.

MOTORCYCLE CLEANING:      

  For years now, people who know me know I hate cleaning my f&^%G Bike And Trike, but the easiest way I've found is to make a one off purchase of a good big paintbrush, then get the Missus to buy 'Dynamo Liquid laundry detergent'    It's non abrasive, and the best bloody degreaser I've found.                                                      

Instructions: 

A/   Make a paste of  Dynamo & water, (like consistency of really thick soup)  

B/ Hose bike down so as wet.   

C/ Use paintbrush to apply paste. Tanks and guards first then Alloy, then motor or anything else grimmy

D/ Let completely dry whilst having a beer.

E/ Hose Off. 

That's it.     Also good for greasy motors, pathways, oil spills etc.  I also use 'Meguires Deep Crystal Wet Look polish as it makes the bike look like real good as it does when wet!   For hard discoloured chrome or allow I use 'Brite Shine' from the tin, it's wads of like cotton soaked in some crap or other.
