Ok, let's admit, eBaying is part of our life now, log off if you have not bought anything from eBay or some sort of online stores until today.
Here are some hints of how to quickly determine if seller is a trust worthy one or just another dodgy drop shipping mop.
Check No 1. - Item's popularity/Sold History
<--- Check the quantity of this item has been sold in the past 3/5/7/10 days. Pls note, this check is only applicable to most of store listings.

Check No 2 - Seller's User Profile
Click on the Seller's User Name, Feedback Scores, if he/she is a 'Top reviewers', you can also check out what's his/her ranking, as well as what types of reviews are..
<- Once you've clicked the Seller's User Name, his/her profile is shown on a different page, here you can check if the seller is a 'Trading Assistance' or not.
<- Click on the 'Top Reviewer', you can see how many reviews has this member contributed to the ebay community. I've got 21 reviews since April 08. ^_^
Check No 3 - Feedback Feedbacks Feedbacks
This is again, the most important factor to decide wether or not to buy from this seller. Highly scores means higher ebay activity, but there is always a catch 22 here. Some dodgy sellers sell items like $0.99 to simply boost up the scores. So make sure to follow the steps below to check out the true value of the eBay feedback system.
<- 4.4 stars are a minimum. Any star scores falls below 4.4 is a danger zone.
<- Of cause you can read about the green positive feedbacks and how wonderful this seller is. But always make sure to check out the negatives. What caused the dissatisfaction. Did the seller replied in a timely manner. Put yourself into a judge's shoe, and see for yourself. Also compare the Time when the buyer left the feedback as well as the time when the seller replied.
A classic negative feedback will be 'Bad sellers, never reply any email'. Ok, is that true? By having a quick scan of the negative ones, the seller normally replies any negative feedbacks within 1 day,did that tells you something?
Check No 4 - Quick Questions
If for anything you were not too sure, just send a quick question to the seller and see the turn around time. Ideally 24 hours is a fast reply, anything less than 12 hours during business hours is super. Consider the amount of emails you have to check on Monday, and do you really get through them all by Friday arvo? LOL
As a platinum powerseller on eBay, we hope the above four little tricks can assist you having a pleasant eBay experience, and vote YES if you find it's helpful! Thanks and see you soon!
