If you have an older version of Windows XP and when you try to install it in to a new computer or an upgraded computer you may get a blue screen if you have a version of XP without service pack 2.
To get around that problem you can SlipStream the XP service pack 2 into the OLD CD and create a New Windows XP CD.
You can visit www.microsoft.com and find out how to do that.
The easy way of doing that is a program called AutoStreamer
It is free and can be downloaded from
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/Autostreamer.shtml
You need to have a CD writing program like NERO, Blank CD and Service Pack 2 (which is available to be downloaded from Microsoft web site and of course the old Windows CD .
I hope this will be helpful.
