LAZY SUSAN ASSEMBLY

CAUTION

Sawdust is bad.  Protect balls and races from sawdust, dirt, paint, etc.  Should the bearing become "rough" from dirty races, flush thoroughly with hot soapy water, rinse, oven dry and re-oil.

OPTIONAL

Lubricate bearing balls with oil or grease (depending on freedom of rotating action wanted)  This will help noise reduction.

75 - 100 - 150mm BEARINGS

The rolled lip holding both plates together should face towards the base.

1.  You will require 8 screws but check they are shorter than the thickness of board you are using.

2.  Centre bearing on underside of top board, mark out 4 screw holes, pre drill and install the 4 screws.  On the 100 and 150mm bearings use the 4 small holesfor attaching by drilling these the size of the screw being used.  Remove the 4 screws and then centre other side of bearing on top of bottom board.  Pre drill screw holes and screw in position.

3.  Now turn the upper plate 45 degrees to bottom plate and mark one only screw hole from top plate.  Drill a hole around 15 - 20mm diameter through bottom board.

4.  Place you Lazy Suan assembly together and you will find you can access one of the 4 screw holes to assemble both boards together.  You need to turn bottom board to each screw hole to complete assembly.

300mm BEARING

1.  The top of this bearing is determined by the "Triangle Oshkosh" stamp on the top surface.  The top flange is also wider.

2.  Centre bearing on underside of top board, mark out the 4 holes on the wider flange which is sitting just inside the narrow bottom flange.  Pre drill and screw in position.

3.  Remove the 4 screws and then centre other side of bearing on top of bottom board.  You will notice the flange has 3 sets of holes - 4 large, 4 medium, 4 small.  Select the size that suits your screws best and by turning the 20mm access hole in top plate, you can pre drill and insert one screw at a time.

4.  If you mark through one of the holes that is used to screw top board to bearing, drill a 15 - 20mm diameter hole in bottom board.

5.  This becomes the access hole when you place the assembly together to install the 4 screws, one at a time, into the underneath surface of the top board.
