LEAVING NEUTRAL FEEDBACK FOR SELLER

An item you have bought arrives trashed.  What can you do?????  Well I emailed the seller but they blamed Australia Post.  Fair call, you might say.  However, I decided to leave a neutral feedback saying that the goods were unusable, BUT the seller was prompt in reply to my emailed concerns.  I thought that was a reasonable call.  (It was not viable to leave a positive under the circumstances, but I thought that was what the "neutral" option should be used for.) Honestly, if you had seen the goods, which were trampled, crushed and only fit for the rubbish bin, you would have done the same.  HOWEVER, the seller chose to post utter LIES in regard to my ebay conduct.  I had bought four previous items from them BUT they only posted one positive feedback for the string of transactions.  In vengeful retaliation, they used the unused feedback to post the most incredible LIES about me, hence ruining my otherwise perfect record of transactions.  The lesson - Don't continue to deal with sellers who don't lodge feedback for EVERY transaction.  They can use it to sully your reputation with NO justification.
