Hi,when listing mini parts, some sellers will use the " Cooper" or "Cooper S" tag in an effort to attract potential buyers.A significant number of these parts are not generic to the Cooper family and are used right across the mini range e.g.3-speed synchromesh remote control type gearboxes:- BOTH mini deluxe and Cooper had the following i.d cast numbers.......22A1288,22A1522,22G190,22G333 and 22G68.Externally identical, the important differences  are in the gear ratios,so if someone says that their box has a 22G68 or 22G333 etc.cast number, this does not automatically make it a Cooper box.There are many other examples (traps) like this for the unwary  so seek professional help if unsure!!!.
