There are now many sellers, registered in China and the USA, who are selling cheap goods that look to be real bargains but have extorionate shipping costs.
They sell the item cheap because the shipping charge is where they make their money. This is avoidance of eBay fees as they pay no commission fees on postage costs.
Before bidding on any item that looks to be a real bargain ensure you know the shipping costs and also look out for inflated insurance costs. It can never cost more than the item price for it to be insured. That is illogical and however you look at it cannot make sense.
If you see such an item report it to eBay. Let's get rid of these pople that make eBay a bad experience for us all.
