How to tell a shill bidder -  you should always be on the look out for ebay sellers - who alsways have new ebayers bidding on there items,  this is not always the case but in general be on the look out,   it is most of the time new ebay accounts with no feedback and less than 30 days opened account,   Shill bidders usually only bid very small amounts, so it doesn't look to obvious,  say you bid on a item first of and you bid $20 and opening bid is 0.99cents   and if you see the bids going up in very small amounts, say only $1 or $2 at a time, just keep an eye on the account to see if the bids come from the same account,  there is a chance that this is shill bidding,
If you believe this is occuring to you when you bid on items report it directly to ebay,   As this is not a practise which should be allowed and it does not help the buyer, it is only there to profit one person only.

SO IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU PLEASE REPORT IT TO EBAY,  MAKE IT A SAFER PLACE FOR ALL
