Here is are some facts which may be useful about Bidding on Ebay:

Being the Bidder:

Situation: You have found an item you like the look of, you want to bid on the item. Here are some thoughts you may want to go over.

- Set yourself a price to stop at, often if you don't you may be left with the feeling of 'this is way too much', well before the auctions finishing write down a price. For example: 'I will bid up to $210 on the table and if the price goes higher I will  stop.

- Ask yourself if you would be willing to spend money on an item and if you would use it.

- If you are bidding on furniture or something large or heavy from another state, check how much it would cost to get it to your house and how would you get it there? If your not going to pick it up, you should organise the pick up with the seller.

- If you have any questions, ask the seller. A lot sellers would rather you ask the questions before you bid than for you to have something  your not happy with.

- Check the sellers feedback, things may go wrong if the seller has a bad feedback.

- Found an item you like? If you like check out the sellers items, they might combine postage to make it cheaper for you!

- If the seller has a store, they may have more items you like in it for 'buy it now' auctions.

- Once you decide to maximise you bid add up the prices of postage so that you don't get 'caught' in the moment.
