Question
My Dad's HDTV (Mitsubishi) won't recognize the 64 as a game console. Is there some trick or adaptor I need?
Answer
Some general advice - If you're in Europe I recommend using an N64 SCART cable - the TV will recognise it as a SCART device (like a DVD player, console etc). If you are plugging it into the HD inputs on the back, then it won't work! Double check that you aren't doing this! Look for the yellow, white and red connectors only - there will also be an HD input with colours like green and blue on there... don't use that one. Finally, if you're using the aerial connector, make sure the switchbox is set to "Game" rather than "Aerial", and that you have tuned the channel in.
