In my store I am offering some wonderful Wallies wall murals and decals. These products are great for the beginner who has never used wall paper products before.
The smaller wallies that I carry are for use on craft projects. They can be used on an array of items. Always make sure that any surface you are going to place your product onto is clean and dry and that any rough edges on the item are sanded off prior to adhering your wall paper boarders, or murals.
Wall paper boarders and murals can be placed onto Glass, Tiles, Walls and furniture such as table tops, flat chair seats, doors, windows, glass lamp shades, kids toy boxes, hat boxes the endless choices are only limited to your imagination.
It is always a good idea to set yourself out first prior to starting. You will need a small foam roller which can be purchased at Clints or at your local hardware store. An ice cream lid is a good choice for making up any glues as it is flat and can be thrown away when you are finished.
Using a roller makes sure that your wall paper adheres evenly and removes small air bubbles from beneath your wall paper. Using an old flannelette sheet is also good for wiping any water/glue off surfaces as it presses out.
With the larger murals that I offer it is a good idea to have an extra pair of hands when placing up your mural. Start at the top of your mural so that any excess water wipes down your wall minimizing mess as you adhere them. Using the foam roller will make sure that your mural has no air pockets underneath as you progress down your mural.
Finally....Always follow any instructions that come with your product. If in doubt before starting always ask questions as once you begin you will have minimal time to finish placing your product onto its prepared surface. If renting always ask landlords permission prior to adhering products to any surfaces.
Have Fun!
Happy Wallpapering!
