Welding can be DANGEROUS for several reasons
.
*The fumes generated by the welding process (especially ALUMINIUM which contains CADMIUM) can be highly toxic
*If welding near spray painting (2 pack), the fumes can change into phosgene gas which is a nerve agent used in WW2.
*The shielding gas used for MIG/TIG, will NOT support life & if it displaces your air you can't smell it.
*If welding in a confined space, the risk increases.
*The best solution is to wear an air fed helmet with remote, filtered supply.
