How Do I Spot A Fake Yu-Gi-Oh! Card ?
Yu gi oh card counterfeit is everywhere,
the counterfeiters go to great lengths to produce a range of copies
from very good ones to downright nasty fake copies, for example, Spelling mistakes in the title and text of the card. More
commonly there are flaws in the hologram square on the bottom right of the card, this
hologram should contain the words Yu-Gi-Oh! and the Eye Of Anubis. On a
fake Yu-Gi-Oh! Card the hologram is either not there,
ie just a silver square or not present, sometimes the FAKE cards do have this hologram and in this case check the Card Stock Thickness and also the Card Surface. Some Counterfeit cards have a shiny or wax coating on the front side of the card Hold the cards up to a card that you know to be Genuine and compare the two ... you will soon be able to determine if you have purchased a fake Yu-Gi-Oh Card

This is just one example of how to spot a fake Yu-Gi-Oh Card, Notice that the Genuine Product has the Yu-Gi-Oh! Logo printed on the Bottom right of the Back, The Counterfeit One does not. The Card surface may also show color bleeding and other defects such as incorrect font used on the card text.
The easy way to find out if your card in Genuine is to look at the hologram foil in the bottom right corner of your card, you should see Yu-Gi-Oh! & the Eye of Anubis in the Hologram. as well as the back side of the card showing as above.
