If you have tree's anywhere nearby you probably have the problem of leaves getting into your roofing gutters and creating a fire hazard or polluting your rain water catch or just blocking up the gutters & downpipes when it rains, whats the easiest, fastest and safest way to clean them I've ever tried.

But firstly..Is prevention is better than cure?....the perforated metal gutter guard channels are expensive at around $17 per meter and will only stop big leaves but NOT the fine hair like flowers, seed pods or stick segments of some tree's or the needles of a pine tree & bugs, dirt & dust getting into to your gutters...I also think they could in a bushfire situation promote ember attack under the roof because of the flat plate that leads up & under the roof, they are also hard to remove if need be.

Manual cleaning can be a monthly job & can be dangerous working at height on a ladder while leaning off to the sides and you need to climb and re-postion the ladder many times along the guttering, sometimes bending it as you go.

I found that the easiest way to clean gutters by far is with my newly purchased petrol powered STIHL blower with the gutter cleaning J shaped pipe attachment they call the rain gutter cleaner, you can blow your gutter clean while walking at a slow pace at ground level and it gets them clean as whistle, dirt, dust, leaves, sticks and all,it's an easy job...dare I say an enjoyable job when ever you feel like it,I will never be with-out one again.

Garage clean-ups..just open the doors and the petrol blower is dynamite to clean the garage floor or concrete paths and spider webs,no more sweeping or hosing.

When it comes to blower vacs or chainsaws I always buy or recommend Stihl or Husqvarna,if you buy new and look after it you will use it for twenty trouble free years around the home.

Electric or cheap import petrols just aren't built for the job or long life...you won't save any money buying a cheapy...buy a quality petrol unit...very affordable over the long run.
